In the main body 6 of a bench type circular saw 1, a bracket 24 is installed projectingly and integrally on the side of a blade case 7 and one end of the operation link 28 is pivoted turnably on its tip by a bolt 26 with step. This operation link 28 is installed along the side of the blade case 7 and also an arc shape oblong hole 29 is formed on an intermediate part and a bolt 31 with step screwed to the blade case 7 is inserted in the oblong hole 29. The upper part enters the inner part of the blade case 7 from the slit 7a of the blade case 7 and turns the rear side of the center plate 20 along an inner surface and extends upto an upperside and also its tip becomes a hook shape hang part 33 and is hung with the hang plate 22 of the center plate 20.
