To provide a cutter having a lighting system for illuminating a marking line guide which solves problems that working efficiency in a dark place in cutting work performing on the basis of the marking line guide is decreased because the lighting system illuminating the marking line guide is not provided, although a lighting system illuminating a cutting edge is provided in the cutter such as a circular saw.
In the cutter 1 having a main handle 25 which a worker grips with one hand and a front grip 26 which the worker grips with the other hand, two luminaires 5a, 5b are incorporated in the front grip 26, a cutting portion is illuminated with the luminaire 5a, and the marking line guides 4a, 4b are illuminated with the luminaire 5b. The luminaire 5b illuminates the marking line guides 4a, 4b without being blocked.
