To prevent chips generated in cutting work of a workpiece from piling up in an area in the front in the cutting direction.
The cutter is configured to comprise: an exhaust port 151 formed in a main body housing 103 for exhausting the wind after motor cooling forward; an opening part 153 formed in an angular plate 113 for leading the wind exhausted from the exhaust port 151 to an area front of a base 111 in the moving direction; and a regulating part 157 regulating the wind exhausted from the exhaust port 151 from passing the gap between the front end of a second area 105 covering a blade 123 and one end part 113 of the angular plate 113 and flowing out to the side of the base 111 in the moving direction and thereby promoting the wind exhausted from the exhaust port to flow to the opening part.
