Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter capable of cutting a large-diameter and long-sized workpiece, without enlarging and complicating the cutter.SOLUTION: This cutter 1 is a cutter for cutting a tubular workpiece W in the orthogonal direction to the axis, and comprises a rotary mechanism 10 for supporting the workpiece W on both ends by floating in the air and rotating in the axial center, a rotary blade 22 movably and rotatably provided in the contacting-separating direction to the workpiece W and cutting the workpiece, a pair of swing stop mechanisms 30A and 30B arranged so as to sandwich a position X for cutting the workpiece W and rotatably supporting one side and the other side of the workpiece W and a control unit 4 for executing rotation control of the rotary mechanism 10 and movement position control of the rotary blade 22, and the control unit 4 forms a notch in the workpiece W by moving up to a predetermined inside position of the workpiece W while rotating the rotary blade 22, and cuts over the whole periphery of the workpiece W by rotating the workpiece W by the rotary mechanism 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
