Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety function of a cutter, by constituting an edge support and an operation part so as to be mutually disengaged in the drawing direction of the edge support, to restrict movement of the operating part in the drawing direction of the edge support, and to allow the edge support additional relative movement in the drawing direction to disengage the mutual connection.
SOLUTION: An edge support 15 is held movable in a straight line and parallel at an initial position A in a lower housing shell 13 by a tension spring. An operating part 27 is movably held by a torsion spring 38 in straight line guide grooves 30, 31 inclined at an angle α against the central axis line M. The operating part 27 is operated by a slide grasping handle. A connection element P is engaged with a connection element S of the edge support 15 first, a bent bar 34 is bent by the following movement, spring energy is accumulated, and stopped at the front ends of guide grooves 30, 31. At that point, a cutter edge 14 is engaged with a cutting member and additionally moved in the drawing direction by cutting movement, and the connection elements P, S are disengaged. Thus the operating part 27 is returned to the initial position to secure safety.
