Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent cutting accuracy of material to be cut from being deteriorated by making the cutting work impossible in an erroneous position of a material feed roller.
CONSTITUTION: An elevatable material feed roller 26 is provided in the vicinity of a table 3, a limit switch 35 outputting a detected signal when the position of the upper face 26a of the material feed roller 26 is above the upper face 3a of the table 3 is provided, movement of a movable vice 5 and drive of a motor 17 rotating a band saw are made void by the detected signal, and hence a material 5 to be cut is not cut off in the condition of being obliquely fixed with the vice device, so as to prevent deterioration of cut-off accuracy.
