This cutter which is constituted so that a ram 4 whose cutting blade 3 for cutting an object to be cut is fitted under it may be supported through a pair of support plates 5 of the right and left so as to elevate freely by a required stroke, at the central part upper side of a cutting table 1 for placing and cutting the object to be cut, such as relatively large paper, document, or the like, in such a condition that the proper number of sheets is bundled, is formed so that the height of the cutting table 1 may be formed so as to be low by fitting short leg seats 6 below the four corner parts of the cutting table 1, and a driving motor 7 for elevating the ram 4 is disposed above the rear part of the cutting table 1.
