Abstract:
To provide a highly passable cutting balloon catheter.SOLUTION: A catheter 100 includes a balloon 1 expandable so that the outer shape becomes columnar by injection of fluid, a long-sized shaft 5 for supporting the balloon 1, and multiple edge parts 2 arranged on the outside surface of the balloon 1, whose tips are faced to the radial direction outside of the balloon 1 at the expansion time of the balloon 1. The edge part 2 is extended across the axial direction of the balloon 1, and arranged separately from another edge part 2 adjacent in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
