Title:
CUTTING BLADE FOR LAMINATED HEAVY METALLIC SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2773828
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an increased life for a cutting blade and to improve cutting efficiency by a method wherein an escape surface inclined at a specified angle with a push-in direction is formed on the one surface of a cutting edge positioned facing the cut surface of a laminated heavy metallic substance, in a cutting blade by which a laminated polymer is cut through push-in of a cutting edge.
CONSTITUTION: A cutting blade 10 comprises a cutting edge 11 and an escape surface 12. A clamp 16 presses a laminated heavy metallic substance 18 on a support table 25 from above during cutting. The cut surface 18a of the laminated heavy metallic substance 18 is formed through cutting of it by the cutting blade 10 and is extended in parallel to the press direction A of the cutting blade 10. In this case, the escape surface 12 is formed in a manner to be inclined toward an escape direction from the cut surface 18a based on the press direction A of the cutting blade 10. The inclined angle is set in a range of 1-70°. This constitution provides an increased life for the cutting blade 10 and improves the efficiency of a cutting work.
