Abstract:
To be able to confirm information on a blade, even if the blade is attached to a flange mechanism.SOLUTION: A processing device comprises: a disk-like cutting blade 21 having a fitting-hole at a center thereof; a spindle which fixes the cutting blade 21 to a tip thereof; a holding table for holding a work-piece; a blade stocker for stocking a plurality of cutting blades; a blade exchanging unit that conveys the cutting blades between the spindle and the blade stocker and performs attachment and detachment of the blades; a reading unit; and a control unit. A bar code 213 on which information on the blades is recorded is formed circularly at an outer periphery of a cutting edge of the cutting blade 21. The reading unit reads the bar code 213. The control unit confirms the information on the blades from the data read by the reading unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
