Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain disposal of continued cutting chips, discharged from a machine tool, without being accompanied with complicated work.
CONSTITUTION: A screw 20 for conveying cutting chips in the axial direction of a cylindrical casing 10 by rotary action is housed to be set up in the inside of the cylindrical casing 10 charged with the cutting chips, and on the other hand, a block 30 for guiding the screw 20 to further cut off the cutting chips by cooperative action with the screw 20 is protrusively provided in a mode, that the block is brought into sliding contact with a peripheral part 20a of the screw 20, in an internal peripheral surface 10a of the cylindrical casing 10. Simultaneously with the above, a bolt 40 for impeding the cutting chips advanced by rotary action of the screw 20 is provided in a mode of protruding to the downstream region of the screw 20 in the cylindrical casing 10.
