Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device and a bookbinding device which can cut a paper bundle at a proper position.SOLUTION: A cutting unit 1500 comprises blade tips 515A, 525A and an alignment part 527. The blade tip 525A extends in a front/back direction and is a blade for cutting a booklet 10 in a vertical direction. The blade tip 515A extends in parallel with the blade tip 525A, is provided at a position facing the blade tip 525A from a left direction, and is a blade for cutting the booklet 10 in the vertical direction. The alignment part 527 moves a left surface of an alignment plate 528, which is a surface extending in the vertical direction and the front/back direction, between an alignment execution position and an initial position.
