Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a buried pipe furnished with constitution capable of removing an existing pipe without opening and cutting by devising it to prevent damage of a rotating cutting edge in the case where excessive load works on the rotating cutting edge.
SOLUTION: A cutter 3 is furnished with a rotating drive shaft 6 to be inserted from one end of an existing pipe 1, a cutter edge 9 free to extend and contract in diameter which is rotationally driven by this rotating drive shaft 6 and a driving source 4 to drive the rotating drive shaft 6 and a power transmission system of the driving source 4 and the rotating drive shaft 6 is furnished with constitution to cut off transmission of driving force to the cutter edge 9 when cutting resistance working on the cutter edge 9 becomes more than a specified value on a cutting device of the existing pipe furnished with a structure to cut a part of the existing pipe 1 by the cutter 3 to pull out and remove the existing pipe 1 buried underground.
