Abstract:
To reduce distortion of an outer peripheral surface while efficiently cutting a fiber mat into a precise gear-like mat with a punching cutter at low cost.SOLUTION: A punching cutter 3 for cutting a fiber mat 10 on a pedestal 1 comprises: a tooth-shaped cutter 3A for cutting the fiber mat 10 into a gear-like mat 11; and an inside cutter 3B which is disposed inside the tooth-shaped cutter 3A and forms a through hole 27 in the gear-like mat 11. The tooth-shaped cutter 3A is a hardened steel material which has a tip 4 comprising a tooth tip cutter 4A, a tooth bottom cutter 4B and a tooth surface cutter 4C. The tip 4 of the tooth-shaped cutter 3A and a sub tip 4D of the inside cutter 3B are disposed on the same plane. The fiber mat 10 is cut into the gear-shaped mat 11 with the tooth-shaped cutter 3A and the inside cutter 3B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
