To provide a cutting device for a metallic thin plate drum, which can provide an excellent cut surface, avoids deformation of the drum, improves durability of a cutting edge, and manufactures a plurality of rings at one time to improve productivity.
The cutting device for the metallic thin plate drum is equipped with an outside cutter (89) press-contacting to an outer peripheral side surface of the metallic thin plate drum (5), an inside cutter (91) press-contacting to an inner peripheral side surface of the metallic thin plate drum (5), and drive means (73, 73a, 74, 74a, 75, 75a, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 90, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96) which rotate the outside cutter (89) and the inside cutter (91) while revolving them in the peripheral direction of the metallic thin plate drum (5). The outside cutter (89) and inside cutter (91) are constituted by alternately laminating the cutting edges (89a, 89c, 91b) having a disc shape outline of the same width and same diameter, and elastic bodies (89b, 91a, 91c).
