Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cutting device capable of cutting a plurality of endless belt materials different from each other in peripheral length in a circumferential direction and capable of preventing occurrence of a step (positional deviation) between the cutting start and end positions, and to provide a method for production of an endless belt.SOLUTION: In a cutting device, multiple raw material belts 28 different from each other in peripheral length are made to be windable by enabling movement of a tension imparting unit 20 in a device vertical direction and also, a cutting position 68 coincides with the end 66A of a cutting line 66 setting to the cutting position by the operation of a control part 34 which moves a cutter 24 to a device width direction. Thus, the multiple endless raw material belts 28 different from each other in peripheral length are made to be cuttable in a circumferential direction and thereby, a step (position deviation) is prevented from generating between a cutting start position and a cutting end position.
