The cutting device is characterized by forming a prescribed interval between the cutting end surface of the product P and the cutting blade 10, by moving the other clamp 16 and the cutting blade 10 in the direction for separating from one clamp 15, and moving the cut product P in the direction for separating from the cutting blade 10, simultaneously when completing cutting by the cutting blade 10, while gripping the product P by the pair of clamps 15 and 16.
