Abstract:
To provide a cutting device and a cutting method capable of cutting a cylindrical structure in a state where another internal structure exists inside the cylindrical structure.SOLUTION: A cutting device 1 for cutting a vertical cylindrical heat shield wall 105 with a horizontal cross section comprises: a wire saw guide portion 25 having a plurality of guide pulleys 27 arranged on the outer peripheral side of the heat shield wall 105 and including at least a pair of cutting pulleys 27t arranged adjacent to each other at the same height with a part of the heat shield wall 105 interposed therebetween; a wire saw tool 21 bridged over the guide pulley 27 of the wire saw guide portion 25; a wire saw driving portion 23 for driving the wire saw tool 21; and an annular guide rail 9 arranged to surround the heat shield wall 105 in the circumferential direction and moving the wire saw driving portion 23 and the guide pulley 27 horizontally around the heat shield wall 105.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
