Abstract:

To provide a cutting device for improving the storage efficiency of paper chips generated at the time of cutting of a printing paper sheet.

In the cutting device, the printing paper sheet with a plurality of printed portion is cut to separate each printed portion from the printing paper sheet, by cutting the printing paper sheet in a direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction by straight tooth units 66 and 67 arranged in a conveyance passage of the printing paper sheet, and in the conveyance direction by slitter units 71 and 72 arranged on the conveyance destination side of the straight tooth units. The cutting device includes an immediately-preceding conveyance roller and an immediately-following conveyance roller with respect to the straight tooth units, a paper chip storage vessel 30 arranged at the lower position of the immediately-following conveyance roller and the slitter units to receive the paper chip generated at the time of cutting of the printed portion, a paper chip drop guide plate 11 arranged immediately below the immediately-preceding conveyance roller and the immediately-following conveyance roller to guide an end edge paper chip 6 of the printing paper sheet cut by the straight tooth cutter to a paper chip storage portion 32, and a paper chip induction/guide member 15 arranged on the conveyance destination side of the paper delivery tray 10 to induce a side edge paper chip 7 cut by the slitter units to a paper chip storage portion 33.
