Abstract:
To provide a cutting device that can change a reference value for stopping driving means when a state of a cutter varies and a print device.SOLUTION: The cutting device according to the invention comprises cutting means for cutting a sheet-like medium, driving means for moving the cutting means in a width direction of the medium, load measuring means for measuring loads on the driving means and a control unit that stops the driving means when the loads are over a reference value, which changes the reference value on the basis of a measured result of the loads.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
