Abstract:
To provide a cutting device capable of preventing generation of a cutting failure by a cutter and preventing partial damage to a cutter blade part, and a recording device including the cutting device.SOLUTION: A cutting device includes: a cutter member 10 that can reciprocate in order to cut a cutting medium; and a cutter reception member 11 including an axial member 11b, and cutter reception parts 11c, 11d that are rotatable by the axial member and receive the cutting medium cut by the movement of the cutter member. The cutter reception parts are supported with respect to the axial member in a support part to be swingable when pressed by the cutter member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
