Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a support member capable of cutting the support member arranged in a ceiling part in a stable condition while fixing it at its position and cutting the support member with beautiful cut end without crushing and warping the cut end and having excellent operation property and safety in cutting.
SOLUTION: This cutting device 10 for the support member is composed of a pair of handle parts 11, B12 connected turnably by a first turn shaft 13, a pair of cutting members 14 whose terminal parts are turnably connected with second turn shafts 14b, 15b provided in the handle parts 11, B12, respectively, to form into substantially L-shape, respectively, and which are mutually connected through a third turn shaft 16 provided in the vicinity of an L-shaped bent part so as to open and close freely, a pair of shearing members 15, at least a pair of channel parts 18 provided like a substantially rectangular channel in a cutting edge part 14a of a cutting member 14, and a projection cutting part 17 formed on a basic part side of a shearing part 15a of the shearing member 15 on the other side opposing to the cutting member 14.
