To provide a cutting device in the manufacturing line of a tube capable of achieving miniaturization of the entire device and a driving source while improving the manufacturing capability of the tube, and suppressing the deformation of a pipe member and the tube, and generation of burrs.
The cutting device is used for the manufacturing line of the tube for a heat exchanger, and it consists of a guide 1 holding the pipe member sent out continuously and a cutting edge 2 rotating and cutting the pipe member held by the guide 1. The cutting edge 2 has a pair of semiarc edges 21, 21 in vertical symmetry, that are depressed relative to the side edge of the pipe member, and a central protrusion 22 where the semiarc edges intersect is formed. In this cutting device, a cam 3 rotating in synchronization with the rotation of the cutting edge 2 is provided. When the guide 1 is pushed or pulled by the cam 3, the pipe member held by the guide 1 is displaced in the rotation radius direction of the cutting edge 2, and the axis line of the pipe member in the width direction is passed by the central protrusion 22 of the cutting edge 2.
