Abstract:
To obtain a cutting device for cutting a cutting object capable of efficiently sucking cutting chips.
In a spindle 10 of the cutting device, a cutting blade 70 disposed at a lower end of a spindle shaft 62 cuts the cutting object by driving a motor 38 to rotate a driving shaft 44, a flat belt 72, and the spindle shaft 62. A suction device 74 connected to an upper end of the spindle shaft 62 sucks the cutting chips from the upper end of the spindle shaft 62 through an interior portion of the spindle shaft 62. Therefore, a suction route of the cutting chips can be shortened and the suction of the cutting chips is not disturbed by a peripheral wall of the spindle shaft 62 so that the cutting chips are effectively sucked.
