To provide a cutting device which has a changeable cutting amount per rotation thereby performing the cutting operation of a high frequency and can be made compact in size.
The cutting device 1 includes: a rotor pulley 3 having a cutter 40; a cam pulley 2 which has a cam groove 21 and a rotary shaft A coincident with that of the rotor pulley 3; and a cam follower 38 which is connected to the cutter 40, comes in slide contact with the cam groove 21 and rotates together with the rotor pulley 3 where a cutting-target object inserting hole 7a penetrating the rotor pulley 3 and the cam pulley 2 is provided, and where the cam follower 38 is guided to the cam groove 21 and moved by a difference between the number of revolutions of the rotor pulley 3 and the cam pulley 2, and the cutter 40 is moved and pushed to the cutting-target object inserted in the cutting-target object inserting hole 7a to cut the cutting matter. In the cutting device 1, the rotor pulley 3 and the cam pulley 2 are independently rotated by first and second driving motors 11 and 12 which separate form each other and have the variable number of revolutions.
