To provide a cutting edge replaceable grooving tool capable of improving machining accuracy by sufficiently securing the rigidity of a tip part of a tool body without increasing the number of components.
The cutting edge replaceable grooving tool 10 includes a cutting insert 20 having a blade and the tool body 1 having a shaft shape and allowing the cutting insert 20 to be detachably mounted on the tip part 3. The protruding direction of the tip part 3 of the tool body 1 is made to be a protruding direction X. Of both side surfaces directed in a width direction Y perpendicular to the protruding direction X at the tip part 3, an insert mount seat 4 for mounting the cutting insert 20 is arranged on one side surface 3C. A slit 7 is formed opened on a tip surface 3E directed in the protruding direction X at the tip part 3. The slit 7 is not opened on the other side surface 3D of both the side surfaces when viewing the tip part 3 from the tip surface 3E side.
