Abstract:
To provide a cutting device that is able to sufficiently stock cutting blades to be replaced and enables unmanned operation for long time.SOLUTION: A cutting device 2 comprises: cutting means 6 to which a cutting blade 58 for cutting a work-piece held by work-piece-holding means 4 is attached so as to be rotatable; feed means 8 that relatively feeds the hold means 4 and the cutting means 6 to perform processing; and blade replacing means 10 that automatically attaches or detaches the cutting blade 58 attached to the cutting means 6. A cutting blade stocker 148 on a top plate 146 of the cutting device 2 comprises at least: a cutting-blade accommodation part 150 accommodating a plurality of cutting blades 58; rotating means that rotates the cutting-blade accommodating part 150; reading means that reads a symbol recording characteristics of the cutting blade 58; and conveying means 154 that selects, according to the symbol read by the reading means, the cutting blade 58 to be attached to the cutting means 6 and conveys the cutting blade to the blade replacing means 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
