Abstract:
To provide a cutting liquid tank of a machine tool which can sufficiently recover and remove sludge mixed in cutting liquid and hardly generates a portion where sludge is in a deposited condition at the bottom of a tank body even when restarted after an operation halt.SOLUTION: A cutting liquid tank 1 includes: a tank body 2 in which cutting liquid containing sludge discharged from a machining section of a machine tool flows in from an inflow portion 3a and is stored; a first circulation pump 4 which is installed at a portion where flow rate of cutting liquid containing sludge in the tank body is relatively fast and has an upward suction port; a sludge transfer nozzle 5 which discharges cutting liquid containing sludge extracted from the first circulation pump toward a sludge recovery pump 9; a second circulation pump 7 which is installed at a portion where flow rate of cutting liquid containing sludge in the tank body is relatively slow and has a suction port facing the bottom of the tank body; and a first agitation nozzle 8 which discharge cutting liquid containing sludge extracted from the second circulation pump toward a prescribed portion in the tank body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
