PURPOSE: To make easy of recovering chips of precious metal by covering around a machine with a circular, flat cover provided with a hopper on the lower part, providing to the cover with a work inserting port and with air blowoff nozzles on inner surface thereof, and providing a detachable chip recovering bucket on the lower part of the hopper on a circular, saw blade type cutting machine.

CONSTITUTION: A saw blade 1 fixed to a rotary shaft 2 is covered with a circular, flat, rectangular cover 4 provided with a hopper member 3 at the lower part on side faces and circumference, and air blowoff nozzles 6 blowing down stuck chips are provided on inner peripheral surface of the cover 4 on upper parts and lower parts. A box type chip recovering bucket 7 is detachably attached on the lower part of the hopper member 3, and generated chips are classified into those directly accepted into the chip recovering bucket 7, those accepted through guidance on the cover 4 and the hopper 3 and still those recovered and accepted with blowoff of air, but all chips can be automatically recovered without mixing with other precious metal chips.
