To provide a cutting machine which efficiently feeds a sufficient amount of cutting liquid to the tip of a cutter and a workpiece.
The workpiece 3 to be bored has a bush plate arranged in the vicinity thereof. The bush plate has inserted therein the entire body of a guide bush 2 for positioning a drill 6 thereto. The guide bush 2 has formed therein an insertion passage 13 of a drill 6 and a feed passage 15 which is inclined at predetermined inclinations α, γ and communicates with the drill insertion passage. The cutting liquid fed to the feed passage 15 flows via the feed passage 15 to be held in a drill groove 20 formed in the drill 6 rotating in the insertion passage 13. A sufficient amount of the cutting liquid is thereby fed to the tip 22 of the drill 6 and the workpiece, and the cutting liquid functions to lubricate and cool both the tip and the workpiece.
