To provide a cutting machine equipped with a suitable illuminating device as a dust-proof cutting machine.

The cutting machine 1 is equipped with the illuminating device 5 for illuminating a blade edge of a cutting blade 22 positioned in a blade case 20 through an opening 20c formed at the blade case 20. The illuminating device 5 has a configuration to illuminate the blade edge by a light fixture 52 disposed at the lower part of the front surface of the blade case 20. Furthermore, the illuminating device 5 has the lighting fixture 54 for illuminating a marking line guide, and is integrated by storing two kinds lighting fixtures 52, 54 for the blade edge and the marking line guide and an illuminating switch 56 for switching the lighting fixtures on and off in a case 51 to constitute an assembly structure.
