To provide a cutting machine which can prevent deterioration of dust collection efficiency even when changing the cutting depth of a rotary blade in a material to be cut.
In a cutting machine 1, a dust collection path 30 is provided adjacently to a fixed cover 20 covering a rotary blade 21 which is supported onto a base 10 abutting on a material W to be cut, and communicates with the exterior of the fixed cover while adjoining the fixed cover. The cutting machine enables adjustment of the cutting depth of the rotary blade in the material to be cut by changing the protrusion amount of the rotary blade protruding downward with respect to the base. Further, the machine includes a closing body 28 for closing a first gap G11 between the rotary blade and dust collection path in the fixed cover by gearing to the protrusion amount.
