A cutting machine includes a saw blade 11, a motor, a driving transmission portion which transmits rotations of the motor to the saw blade, a saw cover 31 which covers an upper side of the saw blade, a motor case 12 housing the motor, a gear case 21 housing the driving transmission portion, and a handle 13 installed on the motor case 12, wherein a sound insulation wall is formed at a connection portion between the saw cover 31 and gear case 21 on a front side in a cutting direction of the saw blade 11.
