Abstract:
To provide a cutting machine equipped with a movable cover with high rigidity, which is configured so that usability of the cutting machine is improved by improving slidability between the movable cover and a material to be cut and the other component which are slid by the movable cover, unlike a movable cover made of metal die cast of a conventional cutting machine in which post-processing such as polishing processing has to be performed on a trace of over flow or the like, dimensional accuracy is unstable, and slidability is left to be improved.SOLUTION: A cutting machine 1, which is equipped with a rotary blade tool 11 that rotates by an electric motor as a driving source, and a movable cover 41 that is supported to be openable and closable in a circumferential direction of the rotary blade tool 11, which can cover the rotary blade tool 11, can perform cutting processing by making the rotary blade tool 11 cut into a material W to be cut. The movable cover 41 is a metallic component made of die cast. In a portion of a front part 41f of a left side part at an outer edge of the movable cover 41 is provided with an auxiliary cover 42, a component different from the movable cover 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
