Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting machine capable of cutting a base paper bundle while carrying it to form a cut surface straight.
SOLUTION: The base paper bundle 1 is carried at constant speed by a carrying means 2. By a servo motor 29, a crank mechanism 28 for a carriage is driven, so that the carriage 4 is reciprocated in a carrying direction. By controlling angular speed of the servo motor 29, angular speed of a crank arm 32 for the carriage is changed, so that the carriage 4 is run in parallel to the base paper bundle 1 at constant speed equal to carrying speed. The base paper bundle 1 is cut with a cutter 3 mounted on the carriage 4. Since the cutter 3 moves at equal speed to the base paper bundle 1 in the carrying speed, the cut surface of the base paper bundle 1 is not skewed, but formed straight.
