Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for determining abnormality of a cutting machine.SOLUTION: A cutting blade drive mechanism turns a movable blade to a stationery blade side in such a manner that a rotational driving force is transmitted thereto by a motor. A control part 50 supplies electric power from a battery 60 to the motor according to operation of an operation switch 7 by an operator. A detector 15 outputs a detection signal which indicates whether or not the movable blade is positioned at a prescribed opening position. The control part 50 stops power supply to the motor when the detection signal from the detector 15 does not satisfy a prescribed condition within a prescribed determination time after the start of the power supply. The control part 50 stops power supply to the motor in the case when the detection signal output from the detector 15 does not change within the prescribed determination time. The control part 50 sets a determination time according to output electric power of the battery 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
