Abstract:
To provide a cutting machine capable of suppressing a rise of energizing force of an elastic body accompanying oscillation in a direction approaching a base section of a cutting section.SOLUTION: A cutting machine includes: a base section 2; a holder 3 which is supported by the base section 2; a cutting section 4 which is oscillatably supported by the holder 3 between a top dead point farthest from the base section 2 and a bottom dead point closest to the base section 2; an energizing force adjustment section 7 which interferes between the holder 3 and the cutting section 4; and a torsion spring 6 which energizes the holder 3 and the cutting section 4 in the mutually separating direction by abutting on one of the holder 3 and the cutting section 4 and the energizing force adjustment section 7. When the cutting section 4 oscillates in a prescribed range between the top dead point and the bottom dead point in a direction approaching the base section 2, the energizing force adjustment section 7 is configured to suppress a rise of the energizing force of the torsion spring 6 by changing an abutting position on the torsion spring 6 with respect to the other of the holder 3 and the cutting section 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
