PURPOSE: To suppress the generation of the vibration of a cutting machine, by providing a balancing crank mechanism for negating the inertial force due to the reciprocating movement of a sliding frame having an edge tool mounted thereto.
CONSTITUTION: A driving crank mechanism 16 and a balancing crank mechanism 18 are respectively provided to two beds 12, 14 on a base 10. When a motor 38 is rotationally vibrated, rotary plates 20, 32 are driven in the same rotary direction at the same rotational speed. When the rotary plate 20 is rotated, a sliding frame 26 is reciprocally moved by the action of the driving crank mechanism 16 and processing is performed by the edge tool mounted to the sliding frame 26. When the rotary plate 32 is rotated in the same manner, a balance mass 36 is reciprocally moved by the action of the balancing crank mechanism 18. Herein, since the rotary plate 32 is different by 180° in a phase with respect to the rotary plate 20, the inertial force generated by the sliding frame 26 is negated.
