Title:
CUTTING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6368313
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To cut a long length material into a predetermined length while the necessity of a time for returning the same is eliminated, by rotating a rectangular cylinder shape table together with the material having been inserted in the longitudinal direction of the table, with the center axis of the table being inclined, and by cutting the material, successively, by means of a rotary cutter.

CONSTITUTION: When a table 7 rotated by a speed change gear 2 reaches an upper end position, rollers 6 are lowered each together with a shaft 6a loosely fitted in an elongated hole 8a under the dead weight thereof, and therefore, a material 11 is easily inserted and slid on the rollers 6 until one end of the material 11 abuts against a support 5 supported by a boss 4. Further, when the table 7 is rotated by an angle of 180°, the rollers 6 are lowered in the associated elongated holes 8a. Since the frame is upside down, the material 11 is inserted into the gap between the frame and the table 7, and is therefore retained so that the material 11 is not leaped during cutting operation. Further, the material 11 is prevented from being slid due to the friction between the material 11 and the table 7, thereby it is possible to prevent the material from being lowered so that the rotary cutter 10a is pressed.
