Title:
CUTTING MAT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002127094
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a plastic cutting mat using regenerated plastic for a core material, recognized as a regenerated product by enhancing the regeneration rate up to a prescribed value, excellent in a feeling at cutting time, and having the proper thickness in handling.

In this plastic cutting mat formed by sticking a soft skin material to the plate-like core material, the core material is formed of regenerated polypropylene softened so that a tensile elastic modulus falls within a range of 603 to 950 MPa in the flowing direction of a material at molding time, and falls within a range of 570 to 860 MPa in the right-angled direction to a flow of the material, and the skin material is formed of soft new polypropylene. With such constitution, the core material 1 can be thickened more than a conventional materrial, and even if the skin material 2 is thinned by that extent, since an excellent feeling can be kept when cutting paper, the cutting mat recognized as the regenerated product can be manufactured by enhancing a using quantity of regenerated plastic up to a prescribed regeneration rate.
