Abstract:
To provide a cutting mechanism of a printing device which is simply structured and is excellent in reliability on operation and durability performance.SOLUTION: The cutting mechanism of a printing device comprises a cutter (35) having a cutting blade (37) and a blade receiving member (36), which makes the cutting blade cut at least a portion of a medium (20) to be printed while making the blade receiving member receive force from the cutting blade, and a supporting member (15) provided to suppress the blade receiving member from deforming, where the blade receiving member is fixed adjacent to the supporting member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
