To provide a cutting method for enabling stable cutting by using water-immiscible cutting fluid and enabling to take sufficient measures to protect against disasters.
In this cutting method by selective use of water-immiscible cutting fluid 3 or water soluble cutting fluid in accordance with type of cutting, the water-immiscible cutting fluid and the water soluble cutting fluid after use are collected and stored in one collection tank 1 and are separated into two upper and lower layers based on difference of specific gravity, and either of separate suction pipes 5, 6 inserted into each layer of two kinds of separated cutting fluids is operated to use the water-immiscible cutting fluid or the water soluble cutting fluid selectively and reuse each of them.
