Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for easily cutting a high strength heat treated steel pipe used as an impact beam material of a door of a car with good efficiency or cutting the same with good efficiency and flattening the same.
CONSTITUTION: A cut portion is subjected to a tempering process comprising the steps of previous heating to the temperature 600-750°C by high frequency heating and cooling after heating or a cut portion and a forming portion which is adjacent to the cut portion and subjected to flattening work are subjected to a tempering process comprising the steps of previous heating to the temperature 600-750°C by high frequency heating and cooling after heating.
