To provide a cutting line of shape steel, allowing automatic and stable cutting of the shape steel such as an angle material or a flat steel, regardless of sizes.
The cutting line includes: a preparatory conveyer 11 disposed with a plurality of lines of workpieces; a printing roller conveyer 14 having a printing device 13 printing the workpieces carried in one by one by a carrying-in picking device 12 from the preparatory conveyer; a cutting slat conveyer 16 having an NC plasma cutter 15 cutting the workpiece transferred from the printing roller conveyer; and a carrying-out conveyer 18 carrying out cut pieces of the workpiece cut by the cutting slat conveyer by means of a carrying-out picking device 17. The preparatory conveyer includes a plurality of carrying-in chain conveyers 20 set in the direction orthogonal to a workpiece carrying direction, and in the carrying-in chain conveyers, a plurality of chevron-shaped slats 23, having tilted angles allowing the stable stack of the workpieces, are provided in the workpiece carrying direction.
