Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting parallel ruler capable of changing the position of a guide member without changing the interval of a ruler lever.SOLUTION: A cutting parallel ruler comprises: ruler levers 2 and 2 attached removably to a circular saw and arranged in a direction orthogonal to the advancing direction of a saw blade; and a guide member 5 having a guide surface 11 parallel to the advancing direction of the saw blade, where the advancing direction of the guide member 5 is made variable with respect to the ruler levers 2 and 2. In the cutting parallel ruler, the guide member 5 includes front side and rear side mounting members 3 and 4 made variable in front and rear positions. The front-side ruler lever 2 is fixed on the front-side mounting member 3, and the rear-side ruler lever 2 is mounted on the rear-side mounting member 4. There is disposed interval adjusting means 31 for holding the interval between the front-side and rear-side mounting members 3 and 4. Thus, the interval between the front and rear rulers 2 and 2 is not varied even if the positions of the front-side and rear-side mounting members 3 and 4 are changed with respect to the guide member 5.
