Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cutting tool with a cut chip drop prevention function for preventing cut chips from dropping even when a cutter blade is opened after the completion of cutting.
CONSTITUTION: At the front of a cutter blade 4 provided with a semi-circular recessed part for cutting a long screw-shaped rod steel W in a suspended condition, a pin 11 is provided so as to advance and retreat. It is thus possible to prevent rod steel cut chips from coming off the cutter blade 4 even when a cutter blade 5 on the movable side opens, and prevent the cut chips from dropping toward a worker.
