To provide a cutting tool which solves the problem that, when the angle of a cuter knife is changed, a tension coil spring is pulled to increase a tension load, thereby the point of the cutter knife is made to cut into backing.
The cutting tool has a mechanism in which a constant load spring is arranged in a case, one end of a wire is attached to the distal end of the constant load spring and the other end is put around a pulley, which is rotatably fixed to the case, and fixed to a wire attachment member arranged in a cutter sheath, to constantly keep the load. A pulley shaft, in which a mobile pulley is pivotally supported, is forcedly moved to a position where a pulley movement hole formed in a body coincides with a pulley movement hole formed in the cutter sheath in response to the turning amount of the cutter sheath, to constantly keep the load on the point of the cutter knife.
