To provide a cutting tool whose diameter of a stationary blade can be minimized.
A fixed gear 15 has a root diameter (a) specified to be a distance from a blade axis 39 to an outer peripheral surface or longer. An oscillating handle 3 has a handle regulating groove 30 formed, which engages with a first engaging pin 33 and has an oscillating groove portion 47 and an initial end lock groove portion 48. A link control groove 13 engaging with a second engaging pin 34 is formed on a stationary blade 5. The link control groove 13 has a rotation control groove portion 51, an initial end control groove portion 52 for engaging the first engaging pin 33 with the initial end lock groove portion 48 of the handle regulating groove 30 when a movable blade 6 rotates toward an initial end side within a cutting range, and a release control groove portion 53 for keeping engagement of the first engaging pin 33 and the initial end lock groove portion 48 when the movable blade 6 further rotates from the initial end of the cutting range in an opening direction.
