To provide a cutting tool capable of being inexpensively configured.
A cutting tool 20 includes a shank 21 and a cutting blade section 22 mounted at a tip of the shank 21. The cutting blade section 22 includes a base 23 detachably mounted at the tip of the shank 21 and a cutting edge tip 24 mounted at a tip of the base 23. The cutting edge tip 24 includes a diamond tip 25 and a support base 26 on which the diamond tip 25 is supported by brazing. In the cutting blade section 22 mounted at the tip of the shank 21, the diamond tip 25 is brazed to the support base 26. Accordingly, a part of the cutting blade section 22 is configured by the diamond tip 25, which is different from a conventional one, thereby minimizing the diamond tip 25 and inexpensively configuring the cutting tool 20.
