Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool which can efficiently supply a coolant to a flank and a cutting edge by preventing the leakage of the coolant, is adapted to a variety of cutting edge shapes and many kinds of cutting processing, and can accurately and stably supply the coolant.SOLUTION: In a cutting tool 30, a rake face 7, a flank 8, and a cutting edge 5 forming a cross ridge line between the rake face 7 and the flank 8 are formed at a tip of a tool main body 31 which is formed into an axial shape, a coolant supply passage 36 is formed in the tool main body 31, a coolant injection member 37 is detachably arranged at the tip of the tool main body 31, and the coolant injection member 37 comprises a cylinder part 43, and an injection hole 46 which communicates with the coolant supply passage 36 through the inside of the cylinder part 43, and is opened toward the flank 8 and the cutting edge 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
